The ISO Consortium Program is an initiative of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development conducted in conjunction with the University of Maryland Center for Quality and Productivity. More than 250 organizations have reached a point of readiness for ISO 9001 certification of their individual quality systems through participation in the Maryland ISO Program. Organizations completing the Maryland consortium represent 20 percent of the ISO certifications in the State.
